The SB10mad Conference is specially focussed on the Mediterranean area since it shares a series of common features, climatic and technological as well as historical and social, that deserve a particular vision within a necessary global change. In addition, the Mediterranean area is a space shared by countries with different degrees of development and, therefore, different problems and needs, that must be considered and articulated in the definition of any possible response against climate change. The contribution of this Mediterranean vision will be part of the materials which will integrate the next International Sustainable Building Conference in 2011.
